Q: Are pets allowed at Ellicottville’s Fall Festival?

We do not encourage people to bring their animals to Fall Fest. It’s such a busy weekend and there’s many people- it's simply not a comfortable environment for pets of any kind.

Q: Is there designated event parking? 

Parking can be found at 55-57 Jefferson St. across from the cemetary for $20 and all the money is donated to the school's sports boosters. 

Signs are clearly displayed on the streets where limits are imposed; however, during peak traffic periods such as Fall Festival, temporary signs may be utilized. Illegally parked cars will be towed!

Q: Will there be handicap parking? 

Yes, we have designated locations for handicap parking. See our detailed map here.

Q: What are the hours of the Food Court? 

Saturday: 10AM - 10PM and Sunday: 10AM - 5PM.

Q: What are the hours for the Arts and Crafts show? 

Saturday: 10AM - 5PM and Sunday 10AM - 5PM

Q: Will there be public transportation available? 

We will have local shuttle buses available for transportation to The Inn at Holiday Valley & Resort Services. The cost is $4.00 per person, per ride. Pick up and drop off locations are at St. Mary's Church on Martha St. from 12PM - 7PM Saturday and Sunday, and at the intersection of Washington St. and Mill St. from 7PM - 3AM Saturday and 7PM - 12AM Sunday (A map can be found here.).

*No Alcohol is permitted on the shuttle!

A taxi service will be in the area, Scoop Transportation, call 716-790-3483. Uber and Lyft drivers are oftentimes available during this event as well. 

Q: Will there be official Ellicottville Fall Festival Merchandise available?

Ellicottville’s official Fall Festival Merchandise will be for sale at the info booth located on Washington St. near the Gin Mill. 

Q: Is there an Open Container Law? 

Ellicottville does have an open container law in effect; This means absolutely no alcohol is allowed on village streets.  You will not be allowed to leave an establishment or private property, walk to, from or within the village with open containers.  Drink it or leave it.  Public intoxication and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. This is heavily enforced during this event.  

Q: Will there be any ATM’s?

ATM Machines will be available at the corner of Jefferson St. and Washington St. near the Food Court and across the street from Madigan’s on Washington St.

Q: What if I have a medical emergency?

The medical unit is right behind the police trailer across from Madigan's on Washington St.

Q: Is there a lost and found?

If you lose something, you can visit the police trailer on Washington St. across from Madigan's, or cal 716-699-2120, leave a message and someone will return your call.

Detour Information:

The 219 detour will be in effect from 7pm on Friday 10/11/24 until 8pm on Sunday 10/13/24. A map is available below. Please plan accordingly for delays. 

You will be directed by many flag people as this detour is planned according to NYSDOT requirements. Please take your time, be safe and be respecful!

A note from the event organizers 

Our Fall Festival is a fun weekend, and we want to ensure the safety of our community and event goers. The Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, Ellicottville Police Dept, Catt Co. Sheriff’s Dept, NY State Police, EVL Fire Dept., Village and Town Boards, Code enforcement, DPW, NYS DOT, along with input from local residents, merchants, bar, and restaurant owners have been working diligently to continue to have a safe and fun event.

With this being a long-standing tradition here in Ellicottville we want to remind all who come to please be respectful of our local businesses, residents, workforce, and volunteers. Many of us are working very long hours this weekend to give you a great experience, acknowledgement and patience goes a long way. 

We work very hard to keep our village clean and ask that you do your part! Use the trash receptacles located throughout the event for your convenience.

It’s a well-attended event and there will be lots of traffic, please be aware of the detour route and road closures.
